NICE

we just arrived at our 2nd hostel in nice and it is AMAZING!!!! it is a villa in the french riviera. it is a restored monestary place and it is STATE OF THE ART FOR SURE! it is tucked back in the hills and is surrounded by palm trees and has a back porch and little chairs and 1 euro beers. haha. alex is a happy man. we are heading to monoco in a few min. and are going to spend the day there and relax on the beach and explore the area :-D i am so excited. yesterday we spent all day at the beach in nice and our hostel is a 7 mon. walk from the beach and we just explored and relaxed all day. we drank wine, ate too much bri and bread and ate our fresh fruit next to all the other travelers. it was amazing: we woke up at 10 and strolled down town and and ran into the tour de france. we sat on the grass and chilled for like 5 min. and then lance armstrong rode on by and we cheered and jumped around and his sponsor car followed him with like 10 bright yellow bikes on top and all the others rode by. we filmed the whole thing. and then we just walked across the street and settled on the beach where we chilled for hours. at night we went to a cassino and gambled away some precious fun dollars which was a 1st for me...slots blow. and then we went to a little bar and kevin bought me a fruity drink with the money he won at the cassino and we all talked and chatted until the middle of the night. we were going t to go jump into the ocean but we were just to tired and too sun burnt haha so we headed back to our hostel. we are off to go explore for the day and tomorrow we figure out how to get to chinque terre...it should be an adventure but once we are there it should be magnificent. i am so excited for italy and have fallen in love with france. more tanning and beach to come. love you guys. love always, kris

  1. Dear Europe Team aka Krissy,

Am I gonna get to see any pictures at some point? Or do I have to wait until you're back in the states? I'm getting antsy pants.

  2. I must agree with miss "antsy pants" about the pictures... But I can certainly still experiance the joy in your writing, your passion for life and see the way these experiances will change your life forever! Keep having fun. Drink a glass of wine for me. Jesse

  3. Go Krissy! Its easy to go to chinque terre. Just follow the coast. hop a train to Genoa and jump to the local train. You may want to stop by Santa Margarita and jump the local buss to Portofino....cute and photogenic but full of the Yacht and ferrari crowd. Are you staying in Monterosso or Vernazza? You may want to call and confirm first...its tight down there. Watch for gypsies and texans.
    Viacondios! Vamos! Dave
